A New Job

Last Monday, I started a new job, and I've been swamped. In addition to starting a new job and all that entails—a new office, new colleagues, new routines, new IT system, new commute—I had to manage to get my daughter to and from summer school that started at 9 and ended at 15!

There has literally been no time to write this week, or to even think about this blog. But I made a promise: one post a week. I have kept it up for 6 weeks or so by now, and even though it still has a total of zero visitors, I want to keep it up. Consistency is the key.

The fact, however, is that my lack of time to write this blog post got me thinking. Maybe I am overdoing it? My current blog posts and blog ideas have been rather lengthy. Maybe I should allow myself shorter, less profound blog posts for weeks such as these?

So here it is: I am trying something new. A new job. A new style of blog posts. Short, and not with any major ideas, musings, or messages.

Just something to stay consistent.
